The automobile industry in India is involved in the manufacturing of motorcycles, scooters, passengers cars, bikes, trucks, tractors, buses and defense vehicles. Eligibility for Automobile Jobs:
If you want to be a part of India's automobile industry, you should preferably have a Science background (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) in your high school and thereafter you should pursue B.E./B.Tech in automobile engineering. However, electrical and mechanical engineering students can also opt for specialization in automobile engineering during their post-graduation. Diploma holders can appear for the AMIE examination in order to be at par with the degree holders. The basic purpose of automobile engineering course is to provide training on how to design, develop, manufacture and repair automobiles.
