There are several companies in India offering jobs to the freshers in India. Job Eligibility for Freshers
Different types of entry-level jobs in India require different levels of expertise and academic qualifications.

For research and development jobs, you should preferably be a M.Phil or PhD degree holder with a flair for research.
A degree in hotel management will help you to get jobs in several hotels and reputed restaurants in India. Similarly, a degree in hospital management helps in getting a job in India's hospitals and nursing homes.
A BPO usually hires graduates in any field. But in recent times, most of the BPOs have started hiring high-school pass-outs. An excellent verbal and communication skill coupled with a sound knowledge in computer is essential for any BPO job.

A large number of retail chains and shopping malls in India having ample job opportunities for freshers in India. Some of these retail chains are Pantaloon Retail, Marks & Spencer, Shoppers' Stop and Subhiksha Retail.
Pharmaceutical companies in India which hire fresh graduates include Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, Astrazeneca Pharma India Ltd., Aventis Pharma Ltd. India, Pharmacia, Ranbaxy and Lifecare Labs.
Sales and marketing forms an integral part of promoting the products of companies and hence there is ample scope for employment in sales and marketing jobs in India.
If you are holding a degree in hotel management, you may land up with a good job in some of India's finest hotels and restaurant chains. Some of these include Le Royal Meridien, The Claridges Hotels & Resorts, ITC Sonar Bangla, Peerless Inn, Hotel Blue Diamond, Mainland China, Chinese Room and Arthur's Theme.

Salary Package Expected
Though the pay package varies from employer to employer, your current job location, your academic records as well as the industry the company is catering to, a fresher usually gets somewhere between Rs. 7,000 to Rs. 20,000 per month.
